New to the Forum. Just bought a used Model 586-3. Does this mean that there is no recall on this gun regarding cylinder binding? Does it only apply to Model 586-1? Thanks!

The 586 is a sweet shooter. You should love it.

The sweetest shooting gun I have ever owned was a 586 , came from a pawn shop in Ca . My girlfriend loved it so much she got it for a bday present yrs ago . Still kick myself over that one . You made a great buy.

Welcome to the forum, I have a 586-1 (1987), which was sent back due to the recall prior to my purchasing it. I've found this .357 to be dependable, accurate and a pleasure to shoot . I know you'll really enjoy yours.

Enjoy your 586-3, as stated earlier the recall was for the no dash and dash 1 models. I have a nickel finish no dash 586 that hasn't had the recall work done and it is a fine shooter.

Congratulations on the purchase as the 586 and 686 are great revolvers.

Beautiful handgun and great photos! I have a 586-3 coming in tomorrow from a trade. Supposed to be in pristine condition. Got a new pair of Ahrend Retro grips in moradillo coming in also. Are the grips on yours the stained maple? Very nice!

Here's a pretty decent batch of 586-4's
