38 M&P from the high polish era of the 30’s

I recently acquired this beauty from a friend of mine. It is as close to mint as a 92 year old revolver could be. The polishing is outstanding and the fit and finish is amazing. I don't think the revolvers that S&W made during the 30's can be topped for build quality. Bill

Very, very nice. Some from the 1920s weren't too shabby either. This one will have its 100th birthday next year.

That is one beautiful revolver. Looks like the day it waltzed off the factory floor.
That's the thing with these S&Ws.... even the most basic ones are beautiful pieces of craftsmanship.

At very cheap labor prices, which is why goods from the 1930's often have such fine workmanship.
