I bought a new airwieght 38 for my wife as a carry gun, she likes the weapon except that her hands are a little large for the grips that came with the gun.. Is there and grips that are like the model 36 square grip that will fit the airwieght. I have a Taurus 38 spl with the square grips that fit her hand pretty good. I would like her to start carrying do to all that been happening around the country.:)

Welcome! A new S & W J frame Airweight will have a round butt grip frame, and there are dozens of choices for replacement stocks. There are larger wood and rubber stocks, both factory and aftermarket; if you have a way to try them before buying it will save you a few dollars. or any internet search for images of S & W J frame stocks will give you plenty of ideas. Hope this is helpful.

There are some companies that offer round to square butt conversion grips for Js. I have a set made of plastic on my Model 38 that work well but they can be hard to find.

check on VZ's web site. luckily with the j's there's lots of options out there. rnd to sq are a common thing. ebay, brownells, midwayusa. or here in the classies. you'll find an option for it, no question. by the way, welcome aboard, lots of info here. lots of members willing to help. listen to 'em... i have and will continue to do so.
