38SPL Heavy Bullets

Does anyone have any good 38SPL+P loads for 180gr - 200gr bullets?

Likely, he meant a model 27 or 28.
Also it's likely the bullet is a 190gr. variant.

Thanks. I have some 180 grain lswc, and that load looks promising.

I am using a 200gr lead bullet in .357 cases, with 4 Gr Bullseye and a Federal 100 SP primer. About 900+or- 25fps out of a 4" 28.

Thank you, Andy. My fingers sometimes move much faster than my addled mind does.

It's a 5 inch Model 27, and my bullets come out at 178 grains, ready to shoot. I tried some TVB 190 WFNs with nearly the exact same results.

9.5 grains of 2400 with a 200 grain Lyman 358430 does about 875-900 fps from my 4" 681-3.
