Woops sorry typo I just created a new caliber. 38 not 39

I would like to try these in my Ruger GP 100 as I have never used anything but plated SWC. I can find DDWC at all my normal sources for bullets just can't seam to find any HB. I plan on shooting BE with them so is there enough difference in the accuracy using HB? I do not want to cast my own bullets. I have cast enough fishing sinkers and 55 pounds of 12ga deer slugs to know I don't need that hobby any more. Where is a good place to buy them?

Zero Bullets. 1000 ship for free. I just bought 2000. Click on their retail sales site, Roze.
EDIT: here is a 3 shot sighting in target for my 8" 38 Python at 50 yards, and a recent 25 yard timed fire from a match. 2.9 gr WST, fed mag primer, Zero bullets. I turn the sight 2 clicks from 25-50 yrds. I just switched after I got a bad batch of 148g DEWC. A guy I know uses the DEWC at 25 and the HBWC at 50, claims the longer HBWC creates higher pressure, raising the POI enough so he does not adjust the sight (on his model 52).

My favorite HBWC for trying to put them all in the same hole is the old, dirty looking Remington 148gr HBWC. No they are not the cheapest and there is nothing new and trendy about them, just accurate.

I see that Brownell's has them by Hornady with some that doen't use lube bands they have a knurling system. I don't pay shipping there so may try 250 for $25.

38 brass but I load 357 also and could use that brass.
Some like it for cleaner chambers, some for that tiny bit less bullet jump into the chamber throat. Might be worth loading them both ways to see how they do at 50 yards. Any edge helps. Might need a few tenths of a grain more powder, though, due to that little bit extra case space. someone will know how much.
EDIT, I assumed by BE, you meant outdoor Bullseye or Precision Pistol, the "new" name. We shoot at 25 and 50 yds; my assumption was that you will be doing the same.

Thanks I guess I am too old school got to change to Precision Pistol. I like to keep 38 loads in 38 brass as that way there is no question what ammo I grab, but if I don't load any 357 WCs I can keep it straight. I loaded some 357 mags with CFE pistol and found it to be position sensitive, I wonder if a 38 load in a 357 case will do that with HP38.

I second this. Zero bullets are excellent both in price and performance!

Gosh, I hope not. Not like it's 45 colt; or is it like that? Case volume, powder volume, too much math. You'll find out. One thing or the other will work better.

BTW, first time I loaded the Zero, outside of cases got gummed up, very hard to extract. I probably need to bell a bit more, but I cleaned my chambers and wipe off the rounds prior to firing; all is well. My linemate claims he needs to clean out his bullet seater every 200 rounds. I've not found that necessary on my Dillon Square Deal, so far..

Speer and Hornady are very good....

Unfortunately, neither are very cheap.

I keep some for special needs though.

Funny, I just loaded some Speers for some extra precision shooting (for me) tomorrow.

Nowadays Speer is hard to find. I don't think they have tried to increase their factory output one iota to accommodate the shortages.

Thanks that is interesting and worth trying. Something else to run by the Labradar.
