3913-4013 Frame Size

I have a 3913 LS and really like it. I've seen a 4013 on the net and am curious as to whether it has the same size frame (for holster purposes), assuming rounded trigger. Thanks.

I thought the same thing.

Last week I bought then sold a 4013 because it would not fit any of my Kramer holsters for 3014/3914/908.

The 4013 is a different frame size.

The original 4013 is on the 4500 compact frame. The 4013TSW is on a 6900 size frame and should fit most holsters for the 908/3913.

The issue isn't frame size (at least as far as holsters are concerned), it's slide thickness. Last time I compared the two, the 40xx slide was .100" thicker than the 39xx slide. A tight holster like the Kramer IWB for the 39xx will NOT take a 40xx slide.

That's true on the straight 4013s', slides on the TSWs' are the same as the 6900/3913 guns.

Thanks for the info. I'll take the cost of a new holster into consideration in deciding whether I want a 4013. It's kinda' borderline now.
