3rd 29

I'm not prone to waxing poetic about anything but I bought a 3rd 29 actually a 629 classic yesterday and felt like I came back home again. My first was in the 70's when the 29 became a movie star. Then my 2nd was in the 90's because I was properous. Now my third yesterday just because I could. Suffice it to say that I think the 29 platform is the best handgun series ever made. Also the most versatile. Way to go S&W!! Glad to see your earnings are way up.

I won't argue with most versatile, but from my perspective they are simply beautiful.
Never saw a 29 that was not attractive.

Mine is both aforementioned and I love it.

I'm working on learning to post pictures so bear with me. It's a 5" version. Shoots great. I got on a 10mm kick for awhile but nothing replaces the big 6 gun.

Yeah. I need to get all the kids out and "rack 'em up"! I have added a few since. I'm surprised the iron worker hasn't been pushing!! Gonna be a busy next few weeks. I'll see what I can do.
