I'm trying to find a resource for the 3rd generation S&W pistol grips. I seem to remember once upon a time finding a S&W 3rd Gen Illustrated Parts Breakdown or parts list but I can't seem to find it anymore. Does anyone know where to find something like this or know what or where to find the part numbers?

Part number will be different depending on the gun.

3913/14 is 203560000 also for DAO versions and 908
3913LS is 203640000

4516 straight grip is 203600000 Without looking, I'd guess that also fits 4513TSW and 457

59xx curved is 203540000
59xx straight is 203610000

Those should fit all 56xx guns except the 5926 frame decocker.

And so on.

Numrich has part numbers, but they are their part numbers, not the S&W numbers.

The 69xx series use a different set of grips too, right?

It seems like once upon a time Smith and Wesson had a parts listing on their website for the 3rd Gen Smith's. I tried searching but had no luck.

Also, when I called S&W back a few weeks ago to get a couple of the 3913 LS grips they told me they did have any they told me to try a local shop in Springfield, MA. That didn't prove to be fruitful because I could never get a response.

What I really am trying to figure out is the S&W part number for the 6926. I have one inbound and want to track down a new set.

You had to need grips for one of the most rare of 3rd Gens.
Part # is 203580000.

Since it's a frame mounted decocker version, it's unique to that gun.

Numrich has them in stock, listed as new, Grip, Curved Backstrap, Cut for Decocker Lever | Gun Parts Corp.

Smith used to have parts lists on their website, but they've been gone for 6-7 years. I just happen to have a copy of about the same vintage.

Thanks so much for the help! Do you have a source for the file? The pistol I have inbound is an Israeli Surplus 6926. The condition is good but the grips have seen better days. The part information is a big help, thanks again all!

I don't remember where I got it, but I do remember that I was asked not to share it. I forget the details of why, but since the person who gave it to me was doing me a big favor, I've honored the request.

Thanks again for the help and leads on grips. I sent a request to S&W CS to see if they still had a copy of the old parts list that was on their site. I did a bit more googling and found a site with older model shop parts list manuals but that only went up to the 2nd gens. (General Reference Page - Smith & Wesson - Exploded Parts Diagrams)
If S&W has a copy I'll try and share it. Thanks again.
