I picked this 4” 29 ND from my FFL yesterday.

Doesn’t appear to have been fired much at all.

Has a few minor handling scratches.

Tried to get outside before the rain moved in to take some photos but didn’t happen…sorry for the poor photos.

Luckily I had a set of stocks to put on it.

This gun might deserve a set of Curt Harlow custom stocks down the road 🤔

Fantastic pistol Pete, absolutely one of, if not, the finest looking modern era N Frames!
I was fortune a few years ago to score a 4” .44 Magnum here on the Forum. I’ve loved that configuration since the original 48 Hrs.!

Great looking N frame!

I understand Model 29, but what is ND?

And let’s not forget that elk looks mighty nice on N frames. These are from Ken.

Can a man have too many ? I already have multiple 29s and 57s but this post makes me want to rescue some more!

I hear you. I have every barrel length in blued and nickel in M 29 M57 and M 27. Still looking for others that fit in.. Like stainless pinned and recessed.

Congrats on the adoption. I love the 4 inch N frames and have a 29-2, and two M57's ND blue and nickel. I'm still looking for that M29 4 inch nickel.

Very nice four screw Model 29 !
You will of course require a five screw pre 29 to keep it company now....
Of course it never ends ; )

I have been collecting no dash S&W for a while now and I had no idea what ND was. Can't we just type out no dash. How hard is that? I'm old and tired of acronyms on the internet. LOL I always have to look it up.

Thanks for the great comments and suggestions for alternative stock options.

I changed the title in original post to “No Dash” so not to confuse the baby boomer generation and older 👍

:o OK...I gotta fess up. I was telling my brain damaged (HER term, not mine) wife about this. She knows little to nothing about guns, and even less about S&W revolvers. As soon as I said "Model 29 ND" she spoke up and said "no dash?"

I'm going over here in the corner now and keep quiet. :D

I've used the ND abbreviation before, but I understand some of us need a little help from our friends. ;) I am a true baby boomer (1948) and some of the collector colloquialisms can be confusing. :D

Nice 44 Magnum.
