My version of what a 5th Model HE should have been. In calibers 45 Colt and 41 Magnum (on Model 58s), and 45 S&W and 44 Special (on Model 520s).

A Model 657 6" cut to 4" by Austin Behlert many years ago. Has so many rounds through it the factory had to set the barrel back one turn and remachine the face of the cylinder to remove B/C flash erosion. Oddly enough there is no flame cutting of the top strap.

All grips are Spegel Extended Boot Grips with his checkering.

Here is a quicky shot of my 4" N frames. I think I got them all, but there might be one hiding somewhere. On the left: 57 no dash (nickel), 27-2, Right: 29-2, 28-2.
