4006 TSW Decock Only D0xxx marking

I picked up one of these not knowing what it was, but I just wanted a 4006TSW. It quickly became my favorite of all my 3rd Gen’s and a favorite carry gun.

Really cool to know it’s so rare, I eventually added a railed CHP model thinking it would be my ultimate 4006, but the D0337 has stayed my favorite.

1. You missed the " C " series. There were about 2-3 hundred of those. 2. There were less than 300 riveted/ no rail "vjh" " D" series. SWAT got 25. It took several years to get rid of the FOTS training 4006 program before they used the remaining "D" series for SIMMS.

Thanks - I edited my prev post to include the Cxxxx

For the curious and those who have made assumptions regarding the VJH s/n prefix and the Dxxxx markings: Observed extreme match marking D0077 (VJH3635 no rail) and D0375 (VJH3322 rail). Observed extreme S/N VJH3313 (D0362 rail) and VJH5112 (D0349 no rail). (from just under 200 Summit GB listings)

Majority of observed Summit listings of Dxxxx marked were S/N VJH33xx, VJH36xx, VJH37xx, VJH43xx, VJH44xx, VJH45xx, plus 2x VJH5110 & VJH5112.
Other VJH observed (not Summit) below VJH33xx and above VJH51xx seem to be completely random models late 2002 but mostly TSW or CSxx or 3 digit Economy line
