I have not been on forum at all last 6 weeks as I have been travelling the old west. E Washington, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming.. but as a little teaser when I return at the end of September I should have a little surprise!...

A 4006TSW CHP with a 357 Sig barrel as well.
The work is/ was done by our on own BMCM. I can't wait to get it and shoot that fine 357 Sig round. A few months back at a pawn shop I picked up a boat load of 357 Sig SD rounds. He apparently could not sell them and I got them well under market value at 40 cents a round.

That man is truly an artist . he converted my CS40 to 10mm . Now you've given me something to think about . Where did you get the 357 Sig barrel ? Did he have to modify the mags ? That would be the ultimate , a CS40/10mm/357 Sig .

It took me a couple of months to locate a 5906TSW barrel which is what BMCM uses for the mod. I finally was offered one by a forum member. It was a new barrel. They have them at Midway but they are OS. I had my name in but I never got an email that they were available.

Thanks . Now I have another mission . Does it have to be a TSW barrel ? Don't you just love when you spot something on their website and when you look it's OS ? Why not just take down the posting ?

Congratulations,
The 4006 is a very good donor firearm for a 357SIG Conversion. I am certain that you will enjoy it.

The 357SIG cartridge is powerfu, accurate and effective

I have been a BIG fan of the 357SIG cartridge ever since it was introduced to me in Dallas County by Texas DPS back in the early 90s.

I am also a big 357 Sig fan. I started with a NIB M&P 40 Gen 1 that a local shop was selling cheap and S&W had the $50 military rebate. Bought the factory 357 barrel for that one from Midway. Went back to the same shop and he was closing out the 1st Gen 40 compact. I bought that one and ordered a Storm Lake barrel for it. (Still looking for the factory 357 Sig barrel for that one if anyone has a lead on that). Bought a P229 40 and the factory 357 barrel for it and a Glock 32 that I ran across at a good deal. I have a mold to cast bullets for this round and found a big bag of once fired brass. Did I mention that I am really into 357 Sig?

I was just looking at pictures of the CS40. Converting one of those to 10mm would kind of negate the need for a loaded chamber indicator wouldn't it? Just look to see if there is a round sticking out of the end of the barrel.:D

I recently found a two tone, but I have not converted it yet

Hmm... How much does BMCM charge to convert a 5906TSW Barrel to .357 SIG?

That is awesome!' I love the .357sig round. Who needs 9mm?

That 40S&W/10mm/357sig combo would be epic

Oh, don't get me wrong. You have started some dangerous wheels turning in my brain but that would have to be one heck of a flamethrower. Kind of like with any of my 357 Sigs. If we hit a lull at the range I load up one of them with some reloads with AA #9 powder and it will wake everyone up in short order.
