This was my 657 No Dash I acquired from my neighbor. It was in decent condition, but when I get a new to me revolver I sometimes will choose to do a mild enhancement job depending on how I feel about the gun.
On this one I stripped the old grips and went with a gloss clear which really popped the grain out. I also did a SS very minor polish/clean job. Not mirror, just brought some luster back to the old girl. Anyway, I'm happy with the results. And yes I know this can sometimes effect value. But I enjoy the process.
