442 Grips.

Alright I've just recently acquired a fairly new 442. It's got nice rubber grips already but I'm a huge fan of wood grips for revolvers. I know pretty much anything looks good on a stainless gun but I'm unsure about the blue gun. What are some good wood grip colors that will go well with a black and blue revolver?

Personally I like lighter color wood for blued or darker revolvers, but I've seen some nice reddish stocks on some blued guns that looked great.

I think gray laminated stocks look good on the darker 442 frame (like Altamont silver/black).

I put Crimson Trace CT305 on mine and absolutely love everything about them.

I threw on a set of Altamont rosewood magnas on mine. Makes for an easy grab out of the pocket.

However, I am partial to the Ahrends and Eagle grips for J Frames. They are super light and weigh like 1oz.
