I just got a phone call from Starline Brass. I have had .45 Auto Rim cases ordered since January. They are now shipping. Others who ordered when I did should also be getting theirs.

If you are in the market, now might be a good time to order. They only run these a time or two per year. Get 'em while they are HOT!

625's FOREVER!

I just got an email that mine are due here tomorrow. Ordered 500, which should be enough for me for quite awhile. I also have 250 RP but I heard they were "thin." I'll check out the difference if any when I get the Starline. I've always had good luck with them. Have a lot of their 10mm and they keep going, and going, and going.

Got mine yesterday from MidwayUSA. First time to reload autorim. Now to search for loading info.

Do you guys load on a Dillon? If so does it require a different conversion kit to reload the Autp Rim stuff? Just thinking I might reload Auto Rim for one of my 25s that require oversized bullets due to large throats. That would keep everything separate. At least I think it would.

bm51,
Most load data for the AR are the same as for the ACP. You just use a different shell holder. Even the die settings are the same. You can, however, use the AR for heavier loads and these use different data, as well as needing, usually, a roll crimp.

Redding makes a taper crimp die for the .45 acp and also a profile (roll) crimp die for the .45 ar. Nice to have them both.
