Does anyone know what the other differences are, if any, between these two styles in this model? I believe that with the SW compact 9mms there are some MIM in the Rounded trigger guard models; not in the Square trigger guard models Is that correct?

Square triggerguards were discontinued around 1990. MIM parts weren't introduced until 1998.
