4513TSW Rail Removal

I had the acc. rail removed from my 4513TSW so that it would fit the holsters I have. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fill the holes in the frame where the rail came from? The gunsmith who removed the rail said he could not get the plugs from S&W, and S&W will not sell them to the public.

To me, the plugs look like small rivets. I would think you could find a rivet that fit. On the gun I had done locally, he tapped the holes and used small bolts over flush cut bolts. It looks fine, but cost more than rivets.
