I recentley purchased a used/re-built 457police trade that is 2 tone. I can not find any other pictures of this type of gun. Have yet to get range time to shoot this gun any comments about this gun would be very helpful. Thank you

I bought a new old stock 457 a few months ago. It's a very nice shooting gun. Reliable and accurate.

It's my new off duty carry gun.

My dealer has one new one left. I'm thinking of getting it and putting it in the safe for a spare.

457's are reliable and accurate! Boring in a good way.

Very pleasant recoil impulse makes them a joy to shoot IMHO.

The 457 is the most under rated compact 45 S&W ever made. Your going to be surprised at how great it is.

I bought a used one about two months ago and have, so far, put 150 rounds through it of different brands and types. It has shot them all without a problem and is more accurate than me. 50 more rounds and I'll carry it.

I found a Don Hume J.I.T 33 that fits it. Practicing drawing and dryfiring, it carries beautifully, very much like my Sig 228 but I like the feel better. It disappears beneath a shirt or jacket better than the Sig.

I'm not crazy about the sights, though. They acquire fairly easily, but in the future it might get some night sights.

Yes, I think you'll really like it.

It might be a Zanders version, built exclusively for the sporting goods chain. It is actually valued a bit higher than a conventional 457 due to the two tones.

A pic would be cool! I have been looking for a 457 or 457s for some time now and like everything else (ammo, mags) the 3rd gens seem to be evaporating.
