This deal was too good for me to pass up. I bought two of them and was so impressed with them I ordered a third and should have it tomorrow. one of them is in such good condition it could almost pass for new(they also come with dim but servicable night sights). I converted these two to sa/da using 4566 parts and am very very happy with the accuracy ive got with them out to 26 yards. thought id pass it along, i think they have 10 more of em

Never mind, I didn't read the OP's post fully.

Was that an easy conversion? I was thinking about doing that myself to my 4586TSW since Smith won't do it.

it was very easy being that the 4586tsw uses the exact same frame and slide as the 4566tsw which is the main reason I bought them. The only parts that need to be swapped are the hammer, sear release and safety/decocker. some slight milling was required on the front of the trigger where it contacts the frame to allow it to travel far enough forward to reset the trigger after dry firing. it wasnt neccisary for normal function but is nice to have in case you gotta hit a primer twice

Edit***They just sold another one about five minutes or so after I bought one.

haha I know how you feel. I was hoping after i started this thread that they'd all get snagged up so I wouldnt have to justify buying another three, i too am weak

So hammer, sear and safety/decock. Got it. Is there a difference between the decock only assembly vs the safety/decock assembly?

Im not familiar with the decock only assembly and am not sure if it would drop in like the safty/decocker without modifications. well for anyone thats interested in how these 300$ pistols shoot I took my latest one out this morning that i picked up yesterday from my ffl to see how it shoots. this is 14 rounds of federal ball at 20 yards. the other two shoot about the same as this one
