Opps sorry guys I have a 6.5 barrel on my 460. Don't know why I was thinking 7.5. Maybe I had that number in my head after looking at the 7.5 barrel on the bone collector s&w has on there web site. Must of head a brain fart! Lol

Been looking for one. I think it will be out of my price range if I find one now. A 6.5" 500 is a lot easier to find at a good price. Might have to do that. 460Vs are everywhere too but I don't want the muzzle brakes.

Here's my 460xvr with out the scope on it. Wish I had more pictures of it to post but it's in the mail on it way to s&w. It was on the recall list. If your going to hunt with your new 460 get ready for the wow factor when you get your first kill with it. Good luck with your new hand cannon!!! Don't forget the ear protection!!!

Thanks for the info - looks like mine was already handled. Must have been the previous owner. I bought mine barely used (partial box of Hornady 200gr) in 2007/8 or so.
