460 Night Guard

Apparently this is one of one concept that was was introduced when the ES series guns were coming out. Correct me if you know more, please. I pulled these pics from a gbroker auction a couple years back. Seller's description mentioned this gun went straight from the factory to Mr. Jinks. The seller was not Mr. Jinks, and I don't recall how the seller ended up with it. I do recall the frame and cylinder are steel as opposed to alloy like the other Night Guards. If I recall correctly asking was $6k. I don't remember if it sold. At any rate, I thought it interesting to share. If anyone knows more about this piece, or if their are others, please do tell!

Can you imagine the beating one would take if this was made out of the Scandium alloy? My hand hurts just thinking about it.

The pictured gun was built to gauge interest at the 2008 Vegas Shot Show and another trade show in New Orleans.

While this is the only 460 Night Guard prototype, other prototypes of this 460 barrel length are know. They are posted near the end of another thread:
