I have been lurking around the board for a bit and love the the info. I just got a new 460v and I am looking for a new holster. I like a high or med rise holster. I have been looking at the simply rugged pancake...looks very cool does anyone run one of these with a hand cannon. If so can you post sum pics of your gun in the holster. Also what other holster are you guys running with this gun.

I have the simply rugged chest rig w/ a pancake for the raging bull series and for a 686. They are very well made and I like the way they ride. For my 460 though I use a Tucker that I got a very good deal on. It carries it at a cant on the belt and is very very well made. It makes it so you don't notice the big XVR on the hip. Reno

I really like my Simply Rugged Sourdoughs that I bought for my N-Frames.

I don't have any leather for my X-Frame, however, I did also buy the Chesty Puller system from Simply Rugged and may use it if I do get a holster made for my X-frame.

Good luck.

If I ever get a 5" 460 I'll make a crossdraw similar to this one I made for my 500. I tried to get the balance point where the weight is more evenly distributed. I have a DeSantis shoulder holster and a Pistol Packaging Bandolero for the 500 but I'm thinking this will work better for me when sitting in a ground blind come September bear season.
