469 Single Action reset?

New to this forum. Hope this the proper place to ask a question. So here it goes. [FONT=&quot]I still have a 469 form 1986 +-. Here lately the single action does not reset mid magazine or after one or two shots. But it still functions in DA on next round. Any hints?

The armorer's manual suggests several things to check if the hammer fails to cock (reset during firing) in single action:

Dirt/shooting debris
Weak or damaged sear spring
Defective/damaged sear
Defective/damaged hammer
Defective or damaged disconnector

I would start with a full disassembly and cleaning. While doing this, check the parts listed for damage or excessive wear. If the hammer is following the slide forward, I would suggest looking closely at the SA notch on the hammer and the bevel on the sear. (use a magnifier)
