5" N Frame Picture Thread

I've seen a few really nice ones lately on here. There's a ~10 year old thread attempting to do the same thing, but as it's nearly all broken links from Photobucket and elsewhere, I thought it best to start fresh.

I don't have a real classic like a Triple Lock, RM, or pre-29 but I'm hoping those show up...

27-2 (1965)

629-3 (~1992) that now wears an X-frame Hogue Tamer

627-5 (~2003) that robbed the above gun of its Ahrends.

I have two to add. A 27-2 and a 629-3 Classic.

My only 5" N-frame. May, 1975 Model 27-2.
Mine was shipped with Target stocks. It has a target hammer and a smooth target trigger.
As soon as I receive my letter for my 1960 6.5" M27 I'll send in a request for this one.

Beautiful 25. Are your sure it has recessed chambers or just a pinned barrel?

I am positive it has recessed chambers. I made the cylinder from a model 29 recessed cylinder as the original 25-5 had oversized throats. . 44 mags and 45 colts have the same rim OD. I cut the barrel down from an 8 3/8 model 25-5.

I am gathering parts and some day will have a pinned and recessed 45 colt triple lock target using a cylinder made from a recessed 44 mag, the under lug from a triplelock, fit and tig welded to a modern heavy 45 barrel. Have a couple triple lock barrels, 3 yokes. I am also going to use a 5 screw frame.

My Model 27-2 from 1978. I have the Presentation Case, tools and all papers for it. Judging by what I have seen on this site over the years, the Patridge front sight on a 5" isn't as common as the plain Baughman or red ramp sight.
