S&W should make a 500 S&W special on a frame size inbetween the N and X frames, how about "R frame"?
It should have -
night sights -
a blued finish available -
nice wood grips -
4" or 6" barrel -
and no muzzle brake.
It should be ideal for handgun hunting at ranges out to 100 yards.

The dies needed to forge a new frame are expensive. Why not just call Bill and Leona Bramlett at Ballistic Supply and order the 300 gr XTP defense load. That or the 350 grain reduced target load are just what you describe.
