I just received my copy of the "Spring 2020 S&WCA Journal" today. Over the past few months we've been posting information on this "Smith & Wesson Forum" site to have all forum members become aware of the many benefits that are associated with S&WCA membership, including the fact that we'd like to have the benefits associated with sharing the knowledge and experience from all new members.
I don't believe that it's too late to become a S&WCA member, and then join us in Tulsa OK in June for the "50th Anniversary Symposium"!
I've attached three files that are from the current journal that will provide additional information for you. I'm also beginning to learn who will be there to speak with you and will share their knowledge with you:
Jim Brewster - one of the finest, and most knowledgeable members you'll ever meet. Jim is our auctioneer and resident FFL. Jim has a vast amount of knowledge of all firearms! If you buy a firearm during the symposium, Jim will assist you in shipping your purchases back to your FFL in your home state.
Joe Cebull - a noted authority on Smith & Wesson presentation cases, and silhouette revolver competition.
Sheryl Cheely - our President. Also Co-Founder of the Smith & Wesson Historical Foundation
Dr. Bill Cross - an authority on Registered Magnums and Model 29s, including the history of almost all Smith & Wesson firearms.
Rex Halfpenny - our Event Coordinator - Rex always drives the unqualified success of every symposium.
Lee Jarrett - the "Big Gorilla" himself. Reminds me of the song "Big Bad John" - Six foot six, weighs 245#
Mr. Roy Jinks - needs no introduction
Jim Supica - co-author of "The Standard Catalogue of Smith & Wesson". Our auctioneer. When Jim Brewster, Sheryl Cheely, and Jim Supica are running the auction, there are no limits on spending!
Michael Wozniak - past president. Expert at having a great time at any symposium. Exceptional member.
I'll do my best to meet all first-time members at the Registration table.
