58 Fluff and Buff

Had my nickel 58 no dash at the range and noticed that it was looking a little grungy. It also needed cleaning from a couple range sessions and the side plate off for a lube job. This a great shooting gun and needs to look the part . Culina smooth targets with a coke profile, some Flitz, Powder Blast and gun oil. Add some elbow grease and a micro fiber towel. This is a working gun not a safe queen.

That's a great looking gun in nickel. Wax that sucka with some Renaissance Wax now that you have it clean.

Definitely Renaissance Wax. I have three nickels, a 1913 38, a 1924 44, and a 1983 mdl 38. All were helped by a couple of coats of Renaissance.

OK, Show Off Time

I was able to buy this at a real dumpy gun show around here. You never know.

Got the blue one from the same guy. Nickel 58's don't come around every day.
