I just picked up a used 586 L-Comp and the over travel stop on the back side of the trigger appears to be a roll pin. Is this normal? All the over travel stops I've ever seen were set screws. Thanks in advance. Dave

The Performance Center switched to the spring steel split pins about 16 years ago at the turn of the Century.

Prior to that they were solid pins.

I do not recall a Performance Center revolver that ever had a set screw as the trigger stop.
