noticed in the past 6 months a lot of 586, no dash, no M, popping up on this forum. Are they secretly mating in a safe somewhere?

I guess I didn' get the memo on the 586 no dash. Please tell me where this gun is as a collector item. I own a very nice one in the box; a 4" with no M and just want to get on the same page with everyone else. Thanks

ok, mines right where i left it... bottom of safe loaded with old cor-bon 110 gr. mine sports a set of pachys, 4" bbl, and a bianchi thumb break holster. love to wear it to work and get the usual caveman comments from the polymer crowd. then i explain very slowly (so they can understand) .357 is still a potent man/car stopper... the fbi stats don't lie. mine is for sure in the "shooter" class of guns. lots of muzzle wear and a WELL defined turn line. won't ever give that one up.

Nothing is a "collector's Item" when its new, but smart collectors know a good thing when they see them, and are willing to wait.

Tough crowd...

She's got some minor holster wear and at some point , someone put a clamp style scope mount on and left telltale scratches. Definitely not collector grade, but a fine lookin' shooter for sure. plus a set of Pacmeyers came with. Oh, yeah, it has a great trigger.

no insinuation that they were collectors unless LNIB command better prices. I was stating that the amount of 586 threads where becoming more prevalent on the site for some reason.

Nice shooter by the way!!

My 586 did the nasty with my 15 and gave birth to a 36.
