5906 Frame Markings

Working on restoring a 5906 - found these under the grips.

Any ideas? Look familiar?

I do not know any backstory of the gun.

Serial number starts with TZV

Either an armory internal numbering or someone ID ing their personal pistol.

How does one reach out to find info on the serial number? I know that won't probably tell me anything about the number under the grips but maybe!

Evidence number under the grips? That's a very kind way to do it!

I doubt it's an evidence number, more likely someone's method of ID-ing their pistol.

When I first looked at it, I thought it might be a date as in 17/08/1996 Day/Month/Year. But then I remembered that the US turns the Day and Month about as in Month/Day/Year.
