Anyone know anything about these. I believe it is probably a 6" barrel with target sights and what appears to be a single action trigger. Are these rare, collectible? Sorry, no pics.
If it is 6" it would almost have to be a PPC9, usually a three position rear sight. Rare, yes, last one I saw sold north of two grand. If it is 5" there are several variations of them, but they are also pretty rare in any form.
PPC9 were available only to active duty law enforcement. They were a custom order item available with a 5 or 6 inch barrel. A Department letterhead had to accompany the order. I've taken mine into several high volume gun shops to attempt to have a value put on it. Invariably, they have no idea what it is, so yes I would say they are pretty rare.
