Love these guns and thank you to Tom for being an integral part of bringing these to us.

PPC 9

Have you ever counted your total number of various configured PPC 9 targets? That would be an insight into the PPC 9 production numbers.

As I’ve said here before, the only name associated with any of the PPC 9 acceptance targets I’ve seen were by Tom Gordon. Was there anyone else crafting/test driving these?

Appreciate your input.

Jim

Hi Jim,

I've never counted them and didn't designate 5 or 6 inch - which would have been a good idea. Glad you have your target and I hope the gun is still running well.

Builders of these guns were Paul Liebenberg, Tom Gordon, Roland Provost and Jim Dalton

I am not sure what years you are referring to, but in 1992 Team Smith & Wesson had Model 3566 Limited pistols with both 5" and 6" slide assemblies. Paul Liebenberg built them

Paul made the ugly magazine extension himself for his 3566 Limited
I was there then and do remember those guns. It's my understanding that Paul built all of those slides on a manual machine. Paul was an extremely talented guy. I saw a number of "one of's" he built. When you got him and Tom Gordon together there was no telling what they would conjure up.

Bill, the guy I mentioned up above or maybe in a recent thread, he also has a 6-inch long slide 4006 Limited, another slick 1-of-1.
