That is not an extended base plate, it is just a magazine bumper.

Even if you has a Smith & Wesson part number, there would be none in stock

Those were made for many magazines by a company called CP Products

While the factory supplied Smith & Wesson magazines always had black bumpers on them, CP offered them in neon colors. Smith & Wesson shipped them on pistols that had the magazine funnels

CP has been gone from the marketplace for many, many years

Precision Gun Specialties?? There is a thread (today) that mentions the same thing....Titled "6906"

Negative.

Discussed there was +2, (rnd.,) adaptors for the use of the full size double stack magazines in the 9mm and .40 double stack compacts.

I actually have two old ones that are not C-P Bullets produced. All my other ones, (including the ones I got from guzzitaco,) are though. Thanks again R.

Edit to add I’m an idiot. Obviously Classic Pistol was abbreviated to CP.

Jim

Brownells has lots of smith mag parts. Also a place called Gun Garage here in Arkansas I would contact.

You just wanting extra capacity? Order some Mecgar mags, they still make the 17 round flush fit ones and I think the 20 round extended.

Rosewood

If you want the bumper go to ebay and search for sudden impact pistol grips. Find an item and email him you want some of the bumpers for the 5906 SW. He can make some replicas, I have a few and they work great.

find an-ebay auction by "get_a_grip_on_it" Email him and tell him you want some of the 5906 magazine bumpers. He will respond

The Plus-2 adapter/baseplate by precision gun spec was just an extended plate that provided an extended grip using a full size magazine when used on a 6906 type gun. Like everyone does now shields/hellcats etc. Works great, I have used them for years. Like the gun on the left ,holds 15+1.

I also bough some old Pachmayr glue on type pads for double and single stack mags with the old steel baseplate. Since they were NIB I bought them to add to my S/W stuff.

What you really need is some of the CP ones that came on some P/C guns. Just watch E-bay is my only suggestion.
