Where these engraved on the slide or are they on top of the stainless steel?

Thanks!

That is a very nice clean look. Are the rails on these steel or aluminum?

On this 4586TSW, I had the the Performance Center remove the TSW billboard and properly roll mark the slide. The aluminum rail was removed and a melonite treatment applied.

If you have all that disgust for S&W laser etching some of their guns, why buy those models?:confused::confused:

Because those were high quality, properly built pistols, with hammers and solid triggers. Unfortunately, S&W decided to stop roll marking with the TSW series.

Indeed, but it seems that some are prepared to great lengths and expense to obliterate the laser marking. It's their money, I guess. :)

My 5906 Tactical has a very smooth DA trigger and a nice SA break, too. The only DA/SA pistol I own that might be better is a Grand Power K100 MK7.

guzzitaco does a great job removing laser etchings. His work is exemplary and very reasonably priced.

I think he might have went too deep with the removal on this one though. :D

Those of us that carry firearms in anti-2A jurisdictions have to be very careful about how a firearm appears. A firearm used for self defense needs to look as plain and simple as possible. No custom enhancements or flashy billboards.
