I think that when you find that elusive four-inch no-dash, your six-incher will see a LOT less trigger time. The shorter gun just hangs in the hand so much better and mine is actually a little more accurate than my longer one.
I shot my six-inch a month ago for the first time in - well - years and only because I had replaced the factory rear sight assembly in that photo with a Millett like the one on the four-inch and wanted to sight it in.
I'm one of those who finds K/L Combat stocks horribly uncomfortable yet I like them on a square-butt N-frame and find that Target stocks fit me acceptably. As it is equipped in that photo, my four-inch 617 is about the perfect revolver.
