625-6 inquiry

Was interested in this 625-6. I've never seen one like it. All the others I have seen don't have the same roll marks and are matte in finish. Anyone seen the same? Thanks!

It is a mountain gun.There are not a lot of them made.I have a couple of the dash 6's.Mine have the new style cyl.release. Very nice.

Thanks! I've seen the mountain guns but haven't seen any in stainless or with the roll marks like this. Assuming it may be a limited edition

I have the same 625-6 model in original box, same product code. Hammer and trigger are not MIM, has hammer-mounted firing pin. It is not matte finish, just basic stainless with no special polishing. Laser engraved ".45 Colt" on the left side of the barrel and "Mountain Gun" on the right. Serial prefix "CAY", Spec Ord code 6093. I find it interesting that your barrel is stamped, not laser engraved, with red ramp front sight and that you have the early thumbpiece.

Neither side are the same as others I've seen. Has "45 Colt Mountain Gun" on the right side, "Smith and Wesson" on the left and doesn't look laser engraved

It's a Mountain Gun in .45 Colt.

It's marked a dash 6 but surely has the looks of a pre lock pre mim dash 4.

It's often called a transitional gun.

It has a January 17th 1996 ready to ship Spec Order Code
