625 on the way...wait, where’s the .45acp?

Great revolver, you will like it. I shoot a 625-8 CT grips using Auto Rim brass and 185 gr Nosler JHP bullets, powder is VV N310...geez, that revolver can dot the "I" I'd never part with it.

Thanks everyone for the input, and the recipes !

It looks like I can grab her Friday. Please post up more pics to keep the withdrawals down !!

Congrats! I've had a few 45 ACP revolvers, and they are pretty unique. I fully intended to carry the last one I got, but it just hasn't managed to displace my 3" 629 as my main carry revolver.

As for ammo, I handload every caliber I own except for 5.56 and 9mm.

Tried to sneak out to the outdoor range, surprise deluge. Can’t go again until Monday at earliest.

Oh well, at least some nice Elk grips should be here soon to dress her up !

Congrats! I got my 1st revolver, a 625 PC a week or so ago. Fun shooting! I put Hogues on it as The R,W,B was not floating my boat. Enjoying my 4” 45 6 shooter!

Excellent choice, and welcome to the forum !!

You started with a good one, and many have reported the JM-designed grips to be a bit thin and slippery. This allows for quick manipulation on reloads, but I have a hard time holding on to them.

Please feel free to post up pics, we love ‘em here.
