625 snubnose project

I have envisioned a similar 25 project for years. Mine is 25-2 barrel cut to 3.5”( maybe 2.5”), installed FSB with quick change front sight blades like the 625PC’s with brass dot, and round but the frame with k frame Rd butt. I’ve always preferred nicely blued guns or nickel to SS. Just my preference, you can get an SS Mount gun barrel w/o under lug from eBay or GPC.

Here is my Model 25-2. Similar to what you seek but with a 4 1/4” barrel and a Call bead front sight.

I had mine done a few years ago by Frank Smith @ LSG, unfortunately he has since passed. He wasn't taking on much new work due to cancer and I was extremely lucky to get it done. It is everything I was looking for... a pinto 45 Colt with a square butt, gold bead sight, and sheephorn grips. It started out as a 28-2, and installed a 625 cylinder and barrel.

I also like 45ACP snubbies. I have a Jovino 25-2 and a 625-4 3". It took me a while of hard hunting to find them (couple of years), but it was worth it. You'll be dollars ahead and perhaps time ahead to buy a factory 625 snub. I doubt you will regret it.

Jovino Effector

Surprised no one has mentioned the Jovino Effector with the 2 1/2" barrel, bobbed hammer, square butt, adjustable sights . I got mine in 86 although it was an unmarked no Effector name job. Its the one handgun I've kept. A bit tough to find yes but probably checks all the boxes.

Like that but I would have left it a square butt. Nice.
