629 1/3 Engraved value

OK, I swore I would never own another 629 I briefly saw an older 1/3 coverage model without a box. The store was closing so I did not have time to look closely in hand but did a get a price...just under $2k. It was likely, fondled a lot and not shot. Anyone have ideas on a value? If I bought it I would shoot it.

Need a little more information....what model variation, what barrel length, factory or after market engraving, does it really trip your trigger, original grips? I would look at what this non-engraved model 629 would sell for so you can determine what you are paying for the engraving. If you like it and determine the engraving value added is OK, buy it and enjoy!

It's 6" bbl. factory engraved guess it's 1/3 coverage think C is the least engraved Pre lock, hammer firing pin maybe 80's. Can't get a good look till they open again.
