I am very new to this.

I am trying to get as much info on my 629-2, 3" bbl, non fluted cylinder, round butt. Pachmayr Grippers. Serial No. BEE 34XX I purchased this 629-2 about 20 years ago from a friend and haven't shot it much. My 29 year old son loves it !

Thanks in advance for any info

i dont know any specifics off hand ,try using the search feature located at top of page just above and to the left of your user name.
there are many knowledgeable people on this forum someone will hopefully check in and help you out.
44s are cool for sure , they must be close to a religious experience for some 'cause people are often heard to say "holy this" or "holy that" when i fire mine at the range

According to the SCSW, a 3" "Classic Hunter" was produced in September of 1989 with a full lug, Pachmayr SKGR grips and an unfluted cylinder. It had a .500" target hammer and a .400" smooth combat trigger. The book does not specifically say the gun had a round butt, but I think all of the 3" guns are in that configuration. I could be wrong, so someone more knowledgeable could correct me. The product code was 103650. 3200 were manufactured. Base on the S/N of your gun, this information seems to fit. Hope this helps. Good luck.
