629-4 $850 6” drilled through top strap

This may be a little off track but I have a friend that had a pre drilled by the factory 629. He liked the factory setup so he managed to get S&W to drill and tap his just like they were doing to production guns at that time. So don't rule out the remote possibility of running across a pre drill model with factory holes.

Congrats to the OP. Were you able to do any good on the price?
Hopefully a range report is forthcoming.

IIRC, MIM hammer/trigger was with -5 and lock was -6.

No $863 OTD.But it came with a Burris 2x scope, mount and rings. Im going to sell the scope,mount and rings.

$863 OTD for a pre MIM no lock factory drilled 629 . Comes with scope and rings. Probably has the DX type spring loaded easy change front sight. I believe the -4 had those as did some late dash 3's}

You got a deal.....nobody here , who owned that gun would have sold it for that! ENJOY!

I have a M629-4 5 inch full lug Classic Magnum that is drilled and tapped for a scope mount. I can assure you that it isn't going to any else's house for a mere $850. I don't really care what an Arizona member pays for sand, I check completed auctions on GB to determine a reasonable price for my next purchase.

$850 won't even get one dragged behind a Jeep in the desert.

Oh, scope & rings/mount included....is much better. I would hazard a guess you could get $150 for them; more depending.... Personally, I'd keep them....use them for evaluating ammo at the range. Buying that stuff new can get pricey.

Nice purchase.

Scored this holster off Ebay. I dont think I could a new one for $80 that matches this quality
