Good afternoon.......i just joined here as I just purchased my first S&W revolver (shot dozens of em but mine until now have been colts)........I've always liked the unfluted cylinder but found one today that i'm unsure of value for as i've exhausted the internet and not found one like it. It is a 629-5 6.5" barrel and its engraved with Classic Champion on the right side of barrel. It is bead blasted and has hogue grips. The pistol was lightly used, came in original box with a b-square scope base, adjustable rear sight and has the lightest trigger i've ever encountered on a revolver. The original cartridge from factory test fire is also in the box and shows 05/08 as the mfg. date. Any help with value/history/uniqueness would be greatly appreciated.
