What's it worth in very good condition?

I just bought one for 1K,but I think I got a good deal.Seems to me they made very few 83/8 ,some say 80,some say a few hundred. If its pristine I would expect to see them around $2000 on G.I. If you see one for sale,grab it quickly.Heck,now Model 29.2s are over 2000 for a nice one. Whats the world coming to? Lol

Seems the long barrel isnt common. The 4 inch 629 no dash was only made for about a year, so they are not on every street corner either
