629 V-COMP 45 COLT ????

Just got a crazy idea. I really like the way the 629 comp looks. And yes,I know that it's supposed to be chambered in 44 MAG. I have a ton of 45 COLT pistols, dies, brass, bullets,etc. What's the most logical way to get a pistol like that in 45 Colt? Ream the cylinder and barrel ? I like the un fluted cylinder.

Ream the chambers. Send the barrel out and have it bored and re rifled. Make sure the hole in the comp will clear a .45 bullet. Pretty minor job as custom work goes.
