I'm sorry guys but a cracked frame is a cracked frame. As long as this revolver does not show a high amount of wear (high round count) or over pressure, what difference would a second owner make?
I can see many parts that can fail on a revolver but the frame is not one of them under normal conditions. Especially when this is not an isolated problem with Smith. This is not the first time on this forum I have seen pictures of similar Smiths cracked in the same spot from barrel over-torquing from the factory.
This gun should have been warrantied.
