642 cracked frame

I'm sorry guys but a cracked frame is a cracked frame. As long as this revolver does not show a high amount of wear (high round count) or over pressure, what difference would a second owner make?

I can see many parts that can fail on a revolver but the frame is not one of them under normal conditions. Especially when this is not an isolated problem with Smith. This is not the first time on this forum I have seen pictures of similar Smiths cracked in the same spot from barrel over-torquing from the factory.

This gun should have been warrantied.

Really?

I just got a phone call from S&W repair on this after 7 weeks. They will not repair the gun because I was not the original owner. I am the second owner. They offered to sell me a new one at a discounted price.

My responce them them was SEND IT BACK. I will melt it down first.

I also will sell every S&W I own and never look back at them again.

What Bull $%#@ that is.

What do you have for sale? Im interested
