642 or 442 no lock? and where are they

My choice would be the 442, mainly because I prefer the black finish. I've seen several for sale on GunBroker recently, including a listing from DiscountGunDealer.com, the dealer I use for my purchases. His prices are good, and he's always treated me right. (We live in the same city and I've dealt with him in person, so I can vouch for him as a reputable dealer.) He's currently listing a new no-lock 442 on GunBroker for a $409 no-reserve starting price plus shipping.

Hope that helps!

TopGun has the 442 but they want a lot for it and the 642 is marked for less but they are out of stock.

RSR Group has them both listed but there's no way to know if they are in stock unless you're a dealer.

RSR has sold all of it's no lock revolvers. The only ones left are what's in circulation currently. You should still be able to locate them priced reasonably with the influx of them that has hit the market. Nice guns they are.

I am still unsure if anymore will become available. When I bought from TopGun Supply, I got the impression there would be no more. By the way, TopGun is out of both the 442 & 642 but shows the model 37 bobbed hammer no lock as in stock.

Funny how things run in cycles. When there were none available we all clamored for them. When they became available they languished at the wholesalers. Now that they've dried up, we want them once again.
I DID get a 37-2 and a 642 BUT did not get a 442. Now I want one.

I didn't fart around on these knowing they would eventually be gone. I got one of all three but since have sold the 37 as I prefer the Centennials more. The store I traded the 37 at still has it on the shelf after 2 months.

Plus one for DiscountGunDealer. I am in California and bought a 642 from him last year when the no locks came out. Great guy to deal with; I had an excellent transaction.
