65-3 3" and a 649-3 .357 auction pickups

These are a couple more of the guns I picked up at an action. The 65-3 is one of the Mass. State Police guns. The 649-3 is a 357 mag version. Both are in decent condition. The 65-3 stocks are original. I don't know if the 649-3's are or not. Either way, I really like these two guns and they will probably be carried regularly.

Two really nice revolvers! You should be proud. The 65 with three-inch round butt is, in my opinion, one of the best Smiths ever made. The Model 65 is what I chose to use in my Concealed Carry Enchanced Quallification course here in Mississippi. Always a great carry choice.

I was very fortunate to stumble upon these. I never thought I would find a 3" gun I could justify buying. There was a pristine 19-2 3" in the box in the same auction. I would have loved to pick that one up but it didn't go cheap.

My 640-1 came with the same stocks as pictured on your 649-3, so I'd say they are original.
