I just got-it, paper work took a while, well not so much, just a month !

Here the beauty

used yes, but far from abused, lock is tight, all look fine.

While waiting I bought a more convenient grip

Hope a range session tomorrow. While waiting, I had time to cast and handload some

SWC 150gn, mild reload, nothing too strong, just want to see how it feel, accuracy and possibly some chronos.

That is my favorite Smith&Wesson revolver. I like those grips you put on. Perfect.

I concur, grips are awesome. I have on an early model 66 with 6" barrel. The coke bottle grips that came with it are beautiful but they slipped in my hand while shooting, especially if my hand was moist. Thus I put on some Hogue rubber ones that feel great and are very functional but they sure aren't pretty like yours...

Congrats! Beautiful 66. I like those grips too. Enjoy yours! Regards 18DAI.

Sweet!!! Love the gun and the new grips! Who are they made by? My snub 19-4 and 66-2 are my favorite "K" frames. Congrats.

That's a sweet looking 66. Have fun shooting it.

Thanks for yours congrats.

Grip come from NILL.

Back from the range, I'm happy.
The gun shoot, my reload works, the feel is great.

Accuracy isn't bad. To make it short, here is my very first 5 shots group, one handed, 25m

Way off center but quite tight, I don't hope really better due to the short radius sight.

Five chronoed shots give an average of 715fps. I'll not push-it really more, it's only a K frame with 2.5" barrel.

Leading was low.
After 50 357mag-SWC

I shoot also some WC
After 25 38sp-WC more

Some unburn powder, next time I'll add more crimp to help a full ignition.
