I was wondering if anyone can give me a fair price on a 686-2 4" sainless in verygood condition.i know someone who wants to sell and i would like to make a fair price offer. i dont have pics. it also has wood grips. thanks for any help

I'm buying a -3 (layaway) for $500 here in VA.

Looking at completed auction on Gunbroker prices run anywhere from $427-595, with most in the low $500 range. Original wood grips in good condition is always a plus as is having the original box. I would figure $50 each just for having those items. A new 686 is going to be around $700 and without getting into the new ones-vs-old ones I usually will always go new if I start getting within a $100-200 range of one.
