Looking at a 686-6with a 3"barrel .Seller has box And paper work with a wood presentation box .Did they come with a wood box ?What would be a fair price?

The 3" 686-6 has become my favorite handgun over the past two years since I got it. I carry it more than any other. To me it's the ideal barrel length and it shoots like a dream.

Mine came in the modern blue plastic box. Price? Easily in the $800 - $900+ range

686-6 3" excellent condition with a modern S&W wood presentations case would probably transact around $850-900 in my neck of the woods

I just bought a nice used 686-6 Plus seven shooter with a 4 inch barrel for $850 out the door. Unfortunately I only got the revolver and no box with it.
